Quick & simple instructions!
- Find a dresser you'd like to re-vamp!
- Unscrew all of the hardware.
- Sand, sand, sand! Sand down all surfaces on the dresser including the drawers.
- Spray paint the old hardware in the color of your choice!
- Prime, prime, prime.
- I used a sponge brush instead of a paint brush to avoid brush strokes.
- Paint the drawers in the ombre gradient you choose. Let completely dry.
- Put drawers back in, screw on hardware and... Voila!
My sister wanted to take this dresser back to Gainesville for her brand spankin' new apartment. Lucky for me, it won't fit in the car and has been so graciously handed down to Khloe! I'M SO EXCITED! Now, let's pray she doesn't rent a Uhaul, mmmkay?!

LOVE IT <3

ReplyDeleteOh man, I'm lovin this! I need a dresser for my son's room but all I can find in my price range are nasty lookin' ones. Now I know I can do something like this to them, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Chrisi! It came out awesome! It's not easy finding a good piece of furniture at a garage sale. Good thing you brought the queen of garage sales with you. ;)
